Los Ángeles is the largest city in California with 3.900.000 people. Is the 2nd largest city in EEUU, after New York.
It´s multiethnic with very large hispanic population. The part of los Ángeles is the busiest in EEUU. It measures 44 miles long and 29 miles across.
Angelenos are the people who lives in los Ángeles. It´s built in several earthquake fault line, recent major earthquakes are whittrer Narrous, in 1987, and earthquake Northridge, in 1994.
At first, the spanish explorers lived and worked on farms and ranches. It was industrializated because of the climate and the wealth of the lands. There are many studies there; Metro-Goldwyn, Warner Brothers…
It was the golden age in Hollywood, there were a lot of people working and many movies were shot. The best thing to see there is the walk of the fame of Hollywood. In that place the oscar´s awards are distributed. Don´t confuse Hollywood with Beverly Hills, where the stars live.

They have the record for the most consecutive games won (33) in the history of American professional sport, becoming unbeaten from November 5, 1971 to January 7, 1972. They have been NBA champions 16 times, behind only the most winning team in the history of the NBA, the Boston Celtics.
